PEERS for Young Adults!
PEERS for Young Adults is an evidence based social skills program for adults who are interested in developing friendships, romantic relationships, improving communication with friends and family, handling pressure, dealing with both direct and indirect bullying and more. Young Adults and social coaches (usually a parent or caregiver) attend 16 weeks of parallel weekly group sessions for 90 minutes each week.
Who is this for?
Serving neurodivergent young adults aged 18-35 who are looking to gain or improve upon their ability to navigate social and/or romantic relationships
Time:
Sessions will take place on Monday evenings from 4:30-6:00pm. We offer 16 total sessions, taking breaks to observe holidays
Location:
Parent and Young Adult sessions will be provided concurrently via Zoom
Why is this program beneficial?
This programming allows participants to learn skills that will assist them in navigating the nuances of interpersonal connection. From appropriate conversational skills to strategies that help diffuse disagreements or miscommunications, this program aims to help those looking to develop and/or maintain relationships of all kinds while feeling comfortable in their own ability to express themselves.
Cost:
Total cost for 16 weeks of concurrent sessions with young adults and social coaches is $2,750.
